An interim order has been passed in favour of the petitioner on 05.04.2018, by which further proceedings arising out of the impugned FIR have been stayed, since then every time the case has been deferred for one reason or another and in the meantime, eight years have passed. Today also, no one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Earlier order sheets dated 29.08.2024, 17.05.2019 and 20.04.2018 indicates that none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner on the said occasions. The present petition is lying pending since the year 2018. It appears that the petitioner has lost his interest in prosecuting the matter.

In view of the above, the instant petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.

Stay application and all applications (pending, if any) also stand dismissed accordingly.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the concerned Investigating Officer to proceed with the pending investigation.
