Petitioner challenges the order dated 13.08.2025 stating that the petitioner ought to be given a chance to appear for interview which she failed to appear on the scheduled date, i.e., 17.07.2025 at 09:00 AM.

The facts are that the petitioner was an aspirant for the post of Rajasthan Administrative Service and allied services and for that, a state wide examination was conducted. It is an admitted

position that after the declaration of the result on 02.01.2025 she was duly intimated of the date of interview in the Sixth Phase which was scheduled on 17.07.2025 at 09:00 AM, however, she failed to report for her interview.

Before the learned Single Judge an excuse was raised by the petitioner that due to a technical glitch on the respondents' website, she was unable to download her admit card, however, we find it to be nothing, but an after thought as noticed by the learned Single Judge, as she could have very well presented herself in the office of RPSC before 17.07.2025 and obtained a second copy of the admit card, if it was not available through the computer where she was residing, if she was serious about facing the interview. The claim of the petitioner is that since interviews are going on, she should be given a chance to appear in the interview. Now it is also misconceived as each and every interview board may be separate, if she was to appear for interview before a particular board on 17.07.2025 and she comes to know of any of the members before whom she may not choose to appear, she may take such an excuse and for that matter, any candidate may take this as an opportunity to change their date of interview. We cannot lay down a law of such a nature, nor we can make it as an exception for the petitioner alone.

The appeal is accordingly found to be misconceived and dismissed.
