"This writ petition is filed seeking promotion to the post of Assistant Engineer.
Learned counsel for the respondents, raising a preliminary objection as to maintainability of the writ petition, would submit that the petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy under the Rajasthan Civil Services (Service Matters Appellate Tribunals) Act, 1976. He, therefore, prays for disposal of the writ petition.
None appears for the petitioner even in second round. However, in the interest of justice, he is granted one more opportunity to oppose the prayer.
