Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was kept under Awaiting Posting Orders (APO) but his salary of sixteen months has not been paid to him for the reasons best known to the respondents. Counsel submits that before approaching this Court, a representation and a notice for demand of justice was served in the office of the respondents but no action was taken. Counsel submits that under these circumstances, a direction be issued to the respondents to decide the same expeditiously within a time frame.

Heard and considered the submissions made at Bar and perused the material available on record.

The Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Pawan Meena Versus State of Rajasthan in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.1665/2024 decided on 02.02.2024, has held that whenever a representation is submitted by an aggrieved person, it is expected from the authorities concerned to decide the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondents to decide the representation (pending, if any) expeditiously as early as possible within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Stay application and all applications (pending, if any) stand disposed of.

Before parting with this order, it is made clear that this Court has not issued any direction/order to the respondents to decide the representation in a particular way. The respondents would be at liberty to decide the same strictly in accordance with law.
