Learned counsel for the defendants-petitioners submits that the ad interim temporary injunction order was issued by the learned trial Court on 28.02.2024. Thereafter, the reply has been filed by the defendants-petitioners to the temporary injunction application. However, the learned trial Court has not decided the temporary injunction application finally and has been extending the ad interim order from time to time.

He further contends that almost one year ten months have passed since the date of ad interim order, but the temporary injunction application has still not been finalized by the learned trial Court and therefore, prayed for direction to decide the temporary injunction application within certain time frame.

Considering the innocuous prayer made by the petitioners, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the learned trial Court to decide the pending temporary injunction application as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

All pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
