By this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for removing of the encroachments from the land which is recorded in the revenue record as ‘Gair Mumkin Nadi’.

According to the petitioners themselves, the conversion of abadi land has been made by the State Government for the land in dispute in the year 1975 and thereafter, the respondent No.6 is having lawful possession over the land in dispute.

We have considered the record.

The petitioners have challenged the conversion of land which was made in the year 1975 after a delay of 47 years.

¶32

In that view of the matter, in our considered view no case is made for interference by this Court under this public interest litigation writ petition.

¶33

Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed.
