By way of filing this writ petition, a challenge has been made for issuing direction to the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner with regard to the land in question.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the same relief, the petitioner approached this Court by way of filing S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.13957/2023, but the same was withdrawn on 06.09.2023 with liberty to avail the other proper alternative remedy available to him under the law.

Counsel submits that the petitioner submitted an application/ representation before the respondents for issuance of patta, but in spite of passing of considerable time, till date, the said application

submitted by the petitioner has not been decided by the respondent-authorities by passing a reasoned and speaking order, therefore, appropriate directions be issued to the authorities concerned to decide the said application expeditiously.

Considering the limited prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by issuing direction to the authorities to decide the representation/ application (pending, if any) expeditiously as early as possible strictly in accordance with law, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Before parting with this order, it is made clear that this Court has not issued any direction/ order to the respondents to decide the application/ representation of the petitioner in a particular way. The respondents would be at liberty to decide the same strictly in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

Stay application and all pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
