Instant writ petition is preferred with following prayer:(i) By issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, quash and set aside the order dated 16.09.2025 and grant Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- from the date of completion of their 18 years service, with arrears, interest and all consequential benefits.

(ii) By issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, quash and set aside the orders dated 18.11.2018, 11.04.2018, 01.04.2016, 01.01.2019, 15.03.2019, 01.08.2022, qua the petitioners or alternatively, the orders may kindly be modified to the extent to grant Grade Pay 4200 to the petitioners on completion of 18 years’ service.

(iii) By issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondents grant the pay scale of the next promotional post as per the MT Cadre i.e. Sub-Inspector, from the date petitioners became eligible and consequently, grant and release benefits of second selection scale in the Grade Pay of the prescribed promotional post of Sub-Inspector from the date of completion of 18 years of service along with arrears, interest and all consequential benefits.

Learned counsel for petitioner while placing reliance upon order dated 20.12.2023 in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 3873/2019 (Amar Singh and Ors. Vs. State of Rajasthan and Anr.) submits that the controversy raised herein is already decided by this Hon’ble Court and the writ petition is disposed of in accordance with order passed in case of Amar Singh and Ors.

Learned counsel for respondent has no objection in disposal of writ petition on the basis of ratio laid down in case of Amar Singh and Ors. Vs. State of Rajasthan and Anr. (supra).

Having considered aforesaid, the instant writ petition is disposed of on the basis of ratio laid down in case of Amar Singh and Ors. Vs. State of Rajasthan and Anr. (supra) if applicable upon the facts of the case.

This order is passed on basis of facts as pleaded in the petition but the respondents are at liberty to verify veracity of facts, before extending ratio in case of Amar Singh (supra).

With aforesaid, the instant writ petition along with pending application(s), if any stands disposed of.
