objections were called. Since, several objections were received regarding the correctness of the answers, the High Court constituted an Expert Committee comprising of two Hon’ble High Court Judges and the expert of the subjects i.e. Law, English and Hindi. The Committee after considering objections, gave its report and based upon the same, the final answer key was issued. The five questions in the question paper were deleted and the maximum marks were reduced to ninety-five in view of the same. For the purpose of the present adjudication, the questions of series-A are being taken into consideration. The five questions deleted were questions No. A-14, A-16, A-80, A-91 and A-92 . With the final answer key, the result of the Preliminary Examination was also declared on 15.07.2024 and the number of vacancies advertised was 222. The candidates to the extent of fifteen times to the number of vacancies were declared qualified in the preliminary examinations, to be provisionally admitted to the Mains Examination. At this juncture, the petitioners have preferred the present writ petitions. But however, subsequent to it, the Mains Examinations have been held on 31.10.2024 and 01.07.2024. Thereafter, holding the interviews, the selection process was completed and the appointments were already been granted to the incumbents vide order dated 27.10.2024. Therefore, as on date the selection stands concluded.
