For a limited purpose, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction to the Registrar of Trade Mark to decide the application submitted by the petitioner for registration of the trademark in the year 2015 expeditiously within time frame.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid application was submitted in the year 2015 and more than 10 years have passed thereafter till date, the application has not been decided, therefore, appropriate direction be issued to the Registrar of Trade Mark to decide the application in expeditious way.

Considering the above factual aspect of the matter and looking to the fact that the application seeking registration of Trade Mark is lying pending since last more than a decade, i.e.,

since 2015, this Court deems it just and proper to issue direction to the Registrar of Trade Mark to decide the application (pending, if any) submitted by the petitioner expeditiously as early as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, after providing due opportunity of hearing to all the respective parties and following the due process of law.

Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. All pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
