The instant criminal writ petition has been preferred by the petitioners with the following prayers:-

“It is, therefore, humbly prayed that your lordship may kindly be pleased to accept this Criminal Writ petition and

i. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondent authorities to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners and their family members so as to safeguard their life and property from the continuous threats and illegal acts of the accused persons and Pass an order restraining the accused persons from interfering, trespassing, or causing damage to the agricultural land and standing crops of the petitioner in any manner whatsoever and orders may kindly be issued to allow them to cultivate their agricultural land with police assistance in the larger interest of justice.

ii. Any other relief which may deem fit and proper may also kindly be granted in favour of the petitioners.”

Multiple prayers have been made, which cannot be entertained by this Court under its writ jurisdiction, contained under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petitioners are at liberty to approach appropriate forum of law for redressal of their grievances. So far as seeking protection is concerned, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the concerned Police Station by way of filing a representation.

In case, such representation is submitted by the petitioners with the concerned Police Station, the same would be considered and decided in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the instant criminal writ petition stands disposed of. Stay application as well as all applications (pending, if any) also stand disposed of.
