The instant criminal misc. petition is preferred under Section 528 of BNSS for quashing the proceedings of criminal case No. 287/2008 pending before the Juvenile Justice Board, Jaipur arising out of FIR No. 253/2007 registered with police station Govindgarh District Jaipur for the offence under Sections 143, 341 and 384 of IPC on the basis of compromise entered between the parties.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was not aware about the proceedings drawn against him. It is further contended that petitioner was declared absconder by the learned Juvenile Justice Board and file was consigned to the record on 06.07.2015. The complainant and petitioner have arrived at amicable settlement and complainant has executed a written compromise dated 15.07.2025 which bears

his signature as well as thumb impression, therefore the concerned Juvenile Justice Board may be directed to act upon in the criminal case after verifying the factum of compromise entered between the parties.
Heard and perused the material available on the record.
Considering the arguments advanced by learned counsel for the parties and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, this court deems it appropriate to direct the Juvenile Justice Board to verify the factum of compromise entered between the parties and to draw the proceedings according to law.
The petitioner and complainant is directed to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board on 04.08.2025.
Accordingly, the instant criminal misc. petition stands disposed of.
All pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
The copy of this order be sent immediately to the concerned Juvenile Justice Board for compliance.
