By way of this criminal misc. petition under Section 482 of Cr.PC, the petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer to quash the FIR No. 731/2014 registered at Police Station Behror, District Alwar for offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 & 419 of IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has already been resolved between the parties amicably and now, no dispute remains between them. Counsel submits that vehicle in question has already been transferred in the name of complainant. Therefore, it is prayed that the impugned FIR may be quashed on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

The Investigating Officer of this case is present in person and under his instruction, learned State Counsel submits that parties have resolved their dispute amicably and complainant is not

interested in pursuing the impugned FIR against the petitioner. The Investigating Officer has also furnished copy of the factual report of this case, which fortifies the fact of compromise arrived at between the parties.

Learned counsel appearing for the complainant also concurs the fact of compromise arrived at between the parties. 5. In view of aforesaid and considering the submissions made on behalf of the respective parties, especially considering the material available for perusal, so also considering the fact that parties have resolved their dispute amicably, this Court is of the view that in order to establish peace and harmony between the petitioner and complainant, and also finding that the present case is wholly covered by the principle of law laid down by Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr reported in 2012 Cr.L.J. (SC) 4934 and as such, the impugned FIR and all subsequent criminal proceedings are liable to be quashed in view of compromise arrived at between the parties.

In view of the above, this criminal misc. petition is allowed and the FIR No.731/2014 registered at Police Station Behror, District Alwar and all subsequent criminal proceedings qua the petitioner are quashed and set aside. Consequence to follow.
