Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed an FIR in the year 2022. It is submitted that as per his instructions, for a period of three years, no significant steps were made by Investigating Authorities and the FIR was pending for consideration/investigation. It is submitted that SB Criminal Misc. Petition No.8330/2024 was filed which was disposed of vide order dated 05.02.2025 by the Co-ordinate Bench, with a direction to the Investigating Authority to conclude the investigation in furtherance to the FIR in question and submit its conclusion report before the concerned Magistrate at the earliest.

date and therefore, the petitioner was bound to file the present petition.

Learned Public Prosecutor has submitted that the investigation, if not concluded, will be concluded within a period of two months.

In the light of submissions made and undertaking made by learned Public Prosecutor, the present petition is disposed of. The investigating authorities are directed to conclude the investigation within an upper limit of two months, from the date of passing of this order.
