Instant petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:

“a) By issuing, an appropriate writ order or direction, the learned Sr. Civil Judge, Ajmer be directed to decide the Lan Acquisition Case No. 41/97 titled as Dhapu Versus UIT, Ajmer pending before Senior Civil Judge, Ajmer cum CJM, Ajmer, since 5.5.1999 in the matter of the Land Acquisition reference application pertaining to the award for acquiring the land for Haribhau Upadhayaya Nagar Scheme, UIT, Ajmer within a period of 6 months.

b) Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deems fit, just and proper the facts and circumstances of the case may also be extended in favour of the Petitioner.

c) The cost of writ Petition may also be awarded in the favour of the Petitioner.”

By way of filing this petition, the petitioner is seeking directions against the Senior Civil Judge, Ajmer to decide the pending Land Acquisition Case No.41/97 expeditiously, within a time frame.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid Land Acquisition Case is pending before the Court of Senior Civil Judge, Ajmer since last more than 25 years and the same has not been decided as yet, inspite of passing of considerable time.

Considering the above factual aspect of the matter and looking to the fact that the matter is proceeding like a snail’s pace and the same is pending since last more than 25 years, instant petition stands disposed of with directions to the Senior Civil Judge, Ajmer to decide the pending Land Acquisition Case No.41/97 expeditiously as early as possible, preferable within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
