information was sent to the committee constituted by the Central Government comprising of representative of the State Government for making necessary corrections in the record and for award of compensation to the petitioner. The corrected information has been placed on record in the form of Annexure-6. Despite corrective measures having been taken by the bank, the committee constituted for the purpose has not decided the claim of the petitioner till date. In the circumstances, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition praying that the Committee constituted may be directed to decide the case of the petitioner for award of compensation as per the information submitted by the bank for correction of the mistake committed by the bank at the earliest.
