“Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The present writ petition has been filed against rejection of the application of allotment of the land treating the petitioner to be resident of Pokaran Tehsil.
Learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly submits that rejection of application of the petitioner was done vide order dated 30.03.2000 and since there was no interim order passed by this Court in the present writ petition, therefore, the land must have been allotted by now to some another person.
In view of the statement so made by learned counsel for the petitioner, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in this writ petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
However, if any subsequent allotment is made by the respondents, the petitioner will be free to submit an application and in

the event of filing such application, the respondents shall consider the same keeping in mind the eligibility criteria of the petitioner, in accordance with the rules prevailing at the time of allotment, without being influenced by the findings recorded in the order dated 30.03.2000.”
