Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is working as a Revenue Inspector, was transferred from Tehsil Semari to Tehsil Jhallara vide order dated 20.02.2024 passed by the Collector, Salumbar. However, vide order dated 22.02.2024 passed just after two days by the Board of Revenue, he has again been sought to be transferred from Sarada, District Salumbar to Banswara.

Counsel submits that the petitioner is ready to comply with the order dated 20.02.2024 passed by the Collector, Salumbar.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent State also has no objection if the petitioner is permitted to join at Jhallara in pursuance to the order dated 20.02.2024.

3 In the opinion of this Court, Order dated 22.02.2024 passed by the Board of Revenue is totally without any application of mind, as the person who had been transferred just two days prior to the said order, cannot be expected to join the second place of posting just after two days.

In view of the above observation and in view of the submission made, Order No.1429 dated 22.02.2024 passed by Board of Revenue, Ajmer is hereby quashed and set aside qua the present petitioner. The respondent shall permit the petitioner to join at Jhallara in pursuance to the order dated 20.02.2024 passed by the Collector, Salumbar.

With the above observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of .
