The instant petition has been filed by the

petitioner with the following prayer:

“i) by an appropriate writ order or direction the respondents may kindly be directed to allow posting to the petitioner for the official work or booking window or technical work looking to the serious disease of the petitioner with all consequential benefits.

ii) Any other order which this Hon’ble Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be passed in favour of the petitioner.”

By way of filing of this petition the petitioner is seeking directions against the respondents to allow him to do light duties instead of plying in the bus as a Conductor, as he is suffering form the disease Thalassemia, due to which he had a gallbladder operation and thus, he is not in position to perform hard duties.

Contents of the petition indicates that with regard to redressal of his grievances, the petitioner has submitted several representations before the authorities and the said representations have not been decided by the respondents- authorities by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

Considering this material aspect of the matter, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with directions to the respondents-authorities to decide the representation (pending, if any) expeditiously, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

Before parting with the order, it is made that this Court has not issued any direction/order to decide the representation(s) in a particular way. The respondentsauthorities would be at liberty to decide the same strictly in accordance with law.
