Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that despite a specific report been filed by the Tehsildar to the Collector with the recommendation that Gram Panchayat Naharsingh Nagar be kept in Tehsil Shergarh, the same has been shifted to Tehsil Shekhala. 2. Learned counsel submits that the representation as filed by the villagers has also not been considered by the Collector.

In view of the submission made, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to file a fresh representation within a period of 15 days from now to the Collector, Jodhpur. The Collector, Jodhpur shall be under an obligation to decide the same in accordance with law and keeping into consideration report dated 16.08.2024 (Annex.3) as filed by Tehsildar, Shekhala within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
