Mr. Sajjan Singh Rajpurohit, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have submitted applications for grant of patta before the Gram Panchayat, Thob,

Tehsil Osian, but the competent authority has not taken any decision upon petitioners’ application.

He submitted that the petitioners would be satisfied if the competent authority of the respondents is directed to consider the notice for demand of justice dated 04.06.2024, which the petitioners’ counsel has sent.

The respondent Nos.4 & 5 are directed to consider the notice for demand of justice dated 04.06.2024 in accordance with law.

Needful be done within a period of eight weeks of receipt of the certified copy of the order instant.

For such purpose, the petitioners shall file copy of notice for demand of justice dated 04.06.2024 along with copy of the relevant documents, including copy of the application for grant of patta and a certified copy of the order instant before respondent No.5.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

It is made clear that aforesaid direction to decide the representation has been issued only with a view to ensure expeditious redressal of petitioners’ grievance. The same may not be construed to be an order to decide the representation in a particular manner.

The stay application also stands disposed of accordingly.
