The petitioners have preferred the present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of necessary directions to the respondent authorities to provide adequate security and protection to them, as they are facing

grave threat to their life and liberty at the hands of private respondent(s).

Both the petitioners are personally present before this Court and identified by their respective counsel. Both are major and are living their life peacefully. However, they are having threat perception about their life and liberty from the respondent No.4. 4. The Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 02.08.2024 passed in S.B. Criminal Writ Petition No.792/2024 titled as Suman Meena & Anr. Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. has disposed of the writ petition with certain directions to the State Government.

In view of the order passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in Suman Meena (supra), the present writ petition stands disposed of. Any pending application(s) also stand disposed of. 6. In view of the above factual averments, petitioners are directed to file appropriate application seeking protection before respondent no.2-Superintendent of Police, District Jaipur (Rural) and respondent No.2 is directed to provide protection to the petitioners, if any application is filed before him and he would ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners.

It is made clear that this order shall not prejudice/affect any other legal proceedings initiated between the parties.
