Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Perused contents of the petition along with Annexures thereof.

Pleaded case is that both petitioners are major. They intend to get married and before they take a decision, they have decided to live together. Both are adults, petitioner No.1 being 19 years old and petitioner No.2 being 33 years old and, thus fully capable and legally competent to take decision to choose their respective life partners.

In the premise, petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents Nos.1 to 3, i.e. Superintendent Of Police, Phalodi, SHO, PS Lohawat, Phalodi and SHO P.S. Phalodi, Distt. Phalodi, respectively, to verify or get verified the threat perception of the petitioners. If warranted, requisite steps be taken, in accordance with law for grant of protection of life and liberty to the petitioners as they apprehend threat at the hands of private respondents. It is clarified that this order shall neither be treated as a stamp of this Court qua live-in-relationship of the petitioners nor any reflection on the merits of the contentions raised by them in the present petition.
