P-0889 was found parked and on asking, driver of said auto rickshaw told his name as Puran Chand. The hood of said auto rickshaw had a map of the world, in which map of India was printed in a distorted form and on enquiry, Puran Chand informed that he purchased said hood cover, on which map was printed, from Dharamveer Khatri of Lucky Bag House, Sadar Bazar, Bundi. On this, S.H.O. along with team reached at Lucky Bag House, Sadar Bazar, Bundi, where a person was found sitting at the shop and Puran Chand told that said person was Dharamveer. On asking his name, said person told his name as Dharamveer Khatri and he took out a roll of chocolate coloured resin from the resin seat with which hood of the auto rickshaw was mounted and presented it. The world map drawn on the resin roll was mounted on the auto rickshaw in which map of India was printed after distorting in the world map. Since selling and displaying a distorted map of India to the people by Dharamveer Khatri and keeping it in his possession, was an offence punishable under Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 and Section 2 of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, therefore, said hood along with auto rickshaw and roll of resin seat on which a distorted map of India was drawn, were seized and sealed. On the basis of said report, F.I.R. No. 364/2000 was registered for aforesaid offences and investigation was commenced. During the investigation, the petitioner was implicated in this case on the ground that he being owner of Supreme Rexine sold said rexine roll to K.L. Mehandirata, who further sold it to Dharamveer.
