A letter dated 15.05.2024 has been received from District Jail Hanumangarh, informing that after completion of interim bail period, the accused-appellant has surrendered himself before the Jail Authorities on 15.05.2024 and he has been lodged in the jail. The said letter is hereby taken on record.
An application (01/2024) has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking extension of interim bail granted by this Court vide order dated 29.04.2024.
Since, the petitioner has already surrendered before the concerned jail authorities on 15.05.2024, therefore, the misc. application seeking extension of interim bail has become infructuous and the same is dismissed as such.
Office is directed to consign the file of the present case to record.
