Deeparam (present petitioner) and Laxmi Devi beaten her up and Laxmi Devi has already been granted benefit of pre-arrest bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this court. Two other co-accused persons namely - Mobaram and Bhinwaram have been granted benefit of bail by this court. He further submits that according to the medical report, the alleged incident took place in the evening of 29.12.2022 and injured (Sohani Devi) was medically examined on 02.01.2023 at 2:50 PM. He also submits that according to the medical report, duration of injury was 5-10 days and old healed lacerated wound was found on parietal scalp. There are no criminal antecedents of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 16.01.2024. Charge-sheet has been filed and trial of the case will take considerable time. Further custody of the petitioner would not serve any fruitful purpose.

that accused-petitioner- Deeparam S/o Shri Mobaram, shall be released on bail provided he furnishes a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) together with two sureties in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) each to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court with the stipulation that he shall appear before that Court and any court to which the matter is transferred, on all subsequent dates of hearing and as and when called upon to do so.
