After notice was issued in this case, official respondents have come out with the reply stating that the claim of the petitioner was examined by the respondents and whatever amount has been found due and payable under the law has been paid to the petitioner.

Though, learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the amount payable to him by submitting that the claim of the petitioner in its entirety has not been accepted and only a part of that has been allowed, we are of the view that in view of subsequent exercise undertaken by the respondents, irrespective of whether or not the entire amount as claimed by the petitioner has been paid, we are of the view that contempt petition cannot be revived. Therefore, this application is disposed of. However, with liberty to the petitioner to file a separate petition, if not already filed challenging the order dated 24.09.2023 passed by the respondents on such grounds as may be available under the law.
