Petitioners are present in person and they have been duly identified by their counsel.

This criminal writ petition has been filed by petitioners seeking protection from the private respondent Nos.6 & 7 as they

are apprehending danger to their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the age of the petitioners are above 18 years and the proof of age certificate issued by Board of Secondary Education is annexed with this petition which shows that both the petitioners are major and have solemnized marriage on their own free will. Copy of marriage certificate and registration certificate dated 25.09.2024 has been annexed with the writ petition as Annexure-5. Learned counsel further submits that petitioners are living peacefully as husband and wife but family members and relatives who are respondent Nos.6 & 7 are not happy with their marriage. It is further submitted that the petitioners are receiving continuous threats from the private respondents, therefore, they should be protected.

In view of the above factual averments, petitioners are directed to file appropriate application seeking protection before respondent no.2-Superintendent of Police, District Dausa and respondent No.2 is directed to provide protection to the petitioners, if any application is filed before him and he would ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners.

The Criminal Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

It is made clear that this order shall not prejudice/affect any

other legal proceedings initiated between the parties.

The stay application also stands disposed of.
