The present application for suspension of sentence has been filed under Section 374 of the Cr.P.C on behalf of the applicantTriveni Sahni.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant was convicted and sentenced by the Trial Court vide its judgment dated 19.10.2023 for offence under Section 3/25 of the Arms Act. Counsel further submits that the applicant was on bail during trial. Therefore, he prays that the application for suspension of sentence may be allowed and sentence be suspended.

Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application for suspension of sentence.

Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties & carefully scanned the entire material available on record, this suspension of sentence application is allowed and it is ordered that execution of sentence awarded to accused applicant, namely Triveni Sahni Son Of Brahaspati by the Trial Court, shall remain suspended during the pendency of the appeal, provided he furnishes a personal bond of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each to the satisfaction of the learned trial Judge for his appearance before this Court on 8^th December, 2023 and whenever ordered to do so till the disposal of the appeal.
