This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking production of his minor daughter Ms. ‘C’ with the allegations that she was in illegal detention without indicating and/or impleading anyone as respondent.

By order dated 22.2.2023, copy of the petition was ordered to be supplied to learned AAG, who was directed to file factual report. The matter was listed before the Court on 2.3.2023 and

28.3.2023 when it was indicated that efforts to locate the corpus are being made.

Today, a factual report has been produced with the submissions that the corpus has been located, who in her statements before the police has indicated that she has entered into wedlock with one Surendra S/o Udairam after attaining the age of majority on 1.4.2023 and that she wants to be with said Surendra.

Learned counsel for the petitioner when confronted with the said aspect of the matter, made submissions that as the corpus has attained the age of majority and expressed her desire to be with said Surendra, he has nothing more to add.

In view of the above fact situation, the petition has no substance. The same is, therefore, dismissed.
