This petition in the nature of habeas corpus has been filed by the petitioner (husband of the corpus) with the allegations that his wife Ms. ‘G’ is in illegal detention of the respondent No.4.

On 07.11.2023, copy of the petition was ordered to be served on learned Additional Advocate General, who was directed to complete his instructions in the matter/file reply.

Today, the corpus has been produced before this Court.

We have conferred with the corpus in camera . She is major and appears to be confident in her approach towards the Court.

She takes a categorical stand that she be set at liberty on her own wish; she does not want to go with the petitioner, her husband, who is not keeping her well.

In view of the above, no case for illegal detention is made out, the instant habeas corpus petition is dismissed.

The corpus is set at liberty to voluntarily go wherever she wants.
