Petitioner has preferred this habeas corpus petition seeking production of the corpus who happens to be daughter of the petitioner.

Corpus has been produced before the Court by police authorities. We appreciate the efforts put in by the police in tracing and producing the corpus.

We have interacted with the corpus. Corpus has attained majority and she has stated before the Court that she does not wish to go with petitioner and wants to stay on her own.

Since corpus is a major and wishes to stay on her own and does not wish to go with petitioner, we deem it proper to dismiss the habeas corpus petition.

¶25

Habeas corpus petition is accordingly, dismissed. Corpus being a major is free to go to the place of her choice.
