Admittedly, the petitioner is having the alternative remedy of appeal against the order passed by the District Excise Officer before the Appellate Authority.
In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to exercise extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India.
Hence, the present writ petition stands dismissed.
The petitioner is at liberty to file an appeal against the impugned order.
