Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the library is not functioning on the land which has been donated by the petitioners.

Though the petitioners have donated land for specific public use, i.e., public library, we cannot issue a mandamus to the State to develop a public library space. We, however, leave the matter for the petitioners to persuade the authority for maintaining the public library.
We hope that the representation of the petitioners shall be considered and examined by the concerned authority keeping in view the public spirit in which the petitioners had donated the land to the State.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed off.
