Matter comes up on an application (IA No. 1/2023) for withdrawal of the present petition.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has opted for the AMNESTY Scheme offered by respondent-Revenue. In this regard, he has submitted that the due amount has been deposited with the respondent-Revenue. In light of the same, learned counsel wants to withdraw the present petition with liberty to revive the present petition, in case the AMNESTY Scheme, as opted for, is not drawn in his favour.
For the reasons mentioned in the application and upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, application is allowed.
Accordingly, present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid liberty.
