Heard.
At the outset, on an objection raised by learned AAG that no final adjudication till date has been carried out by the competent authority to ascertain the exact quantum of stamp duty to be paid, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let the needful be done by the competent authority.
Matter is thus remanded to the respondent No.2 DIG Stamp, Udaipur to finally adjudicate on the quantum of stamp duty to be paid. Needless to say that, before passing of the proposed order, petitioner shall be issued fresh notice and will be accorded a hearing by the adjudicating authority.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner states that during pendency of the adjudicating proceedings no coercive steps

be taken to make any recovery. Learned AAG would respond that there is no question of making any recovery until the adjudication of the final quantum to be recovered from the petitioner is made by the competent authority.
Be that as it may, it is expected that no coercive steps will be taken in view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned state counsel.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
