The present writ petition has been filed with the following
prayer :-
"It is therefore, most respectfully prayed that the Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to accept and allow this writ petition. Further, issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ/order directing the respondent no.1 to precede/dispose/ decide petitioner's application no.2023633 dated 15/09/2010 (Annex.2) for the registration of trademark "OPERA-D" in respect of class-5 in the name of petitioner".
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application for registration of trademark "OPERA-D" is pending consideration with the respondent No.1 for more than thirteen years and he, therefore, prays that the respondent No.1 may be directed to decide the same at the earliest.

Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the pending application No. 2023633 dated 15/09/2010 (Annex.2) for the registration of trademark "OPERA-D" in respect of class-5 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
The stay application and other pending applications, if any also stand disposed of.
