The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition claiming the following reliefs :-

"a) That by any writ order or direction, the appeal pending before the appellate authority may be decided expeditiously.

b) That consequent to aforesaid, it may kindly be directed that petitioner is entitled to be reinstated in services on paper with backdate along-with all

consequential benefits such as seniority and backwages."

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the final order of the disciplinary authority has been passed.

Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the State submits that the final order of disciplinary authority is appealable.

In view of above, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the appropriate authority, which shall be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from today, in accordance with law.

All pending applications stand disposed of.
