This criminal parole writ petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner with a prayer to direct the respondents to release him on permanent parole.
Learned AAG-cum-GA has submitted that the application filed by the petitioner for releasing him on permanent parole has already been forwarded to the concerned State Committee on 08.05.2023 and the same is pending consideration before it.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and after taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances of the case, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider and decide the application of the petitioner for releasing him on permanent parole in the next schedule of the meeting of the concerned State Committee.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
