Heard the parties.
This petition is for quashing of entire criminal proceedings arising out of FIR No. 017/2022 registered with Police Station Pratapgarh, Alwar for offences under Sections 420, 406, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of IPC on the ground of compromise between the parties.
The parties were sent to the Investigating Officer vide order dated 17.07.2023 and the Investigating Officer was directed to verify the compromise. Verification report has already been received and the parties have settled their dispute.

Considering the nature of the offences alleged and settlement of the dispute, continuance of criminal proceedings would be an abuse of the process of law.
Hence the impugned FIR and all subsequent proceedings arising out of the aforesaid FIR are hereby quashed and this petition is allowed.
Pending application, if any, stands disposed of.
