These Criminal Misc. Bail Applications have been brought under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. in connection with FIR No.309/2021 registered with Police Station Vishwakarma, District Jaipur (West)

for offences under Sections 8/15 and 8/25 of N.D.P.S. Act.

The petitioner-Taufiq Ali was arrested in connection with some other FIR and on disclosure of petitioner-Taufiq Ali, a godown was raided and 4 Quintal 70 Kg of Dodapost was recovered. During investigation, it surfaced that the godown was of petitioner-Imran Ahmad and Imran had hired the same. It further surfaced that Imran Ahmad was also a business partner of Taufiq Ali in the trade of narcotics. The petitioners are in custody since 12.10.2021. Uptil now, only 4 witnesses out of 34 witnesses have been examined.

Considering the quantum of recovery, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail, for the present.

Hence, the instant bail applications stand dismissed.

¶27

If the trial would not conclude within the next six months, the petitioners would be at liberty to renew the prayer.

¶28

The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without allowing any unnecessary adjournments in the matter.
