An application has been preferred on behalf of the appellants with a submission that a settlement/compromise has been entered into between the parties and as per the compromise the vacant possession of the premises in question has been handed over to the respondents. It has further been submitted that the mesne profit as directed by this Court vide order dated 26.08.1998 has been deposited regularly with the trial Court and the same may be permitted to be released in favour of the respondents. With these submissions, a prayer to withdraw the present appeal has been made.
