Petitioner has preferred this habeas corpus petition seeking production of the corpus, who states to be his married wife.

Corpus has been produced before the Court. We have interacted with the corpus. Corpus has stated before the Court that she was forced to enter into a marriage and an FIR has already been lodged by her father. She has stated that she is staying with her parents and is not in any illegal confinement and does not wish to go with the present petitioner.

We have considered the contentions.

Since the corpus does not wish to go with the petitioner and is not in any illegal confinement, we are not inclined to entertain the habeas corpus petition and the same is accordingly, dismissed.

¶27

However, it is directed that demand draft of Rs.10,000/- drawn in favour of corpus deposited by the petitioner in light of order dated 27.09.2022 be paid to the corpus.
