In wake of instant surge in COVID-19 cases and spread of its highly infectious Omicron variant, abundant caution is being maintained, while hearing the matters in Court, for the safety of all concerned.
Mr. Prakash Choudhary, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the controversy in question was pertaining to the issuance of passports and the passports have already been issued to the petitioners.
In light of such submission, the present petition are dismissed as having become infructuous. Stay petitions also stand dismissed accordingly.
