It has been submitted on record that because of the recent decision taken by the State Government that the old pension scheme would stand restored, the present writ petition has rendered infructuous.
It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that there remains a dispute regarding the calculation of his earlier period of services for the purposes of pension.
In view of the fact that the main relief of the petitioner has been taken care of, the present writ petition does not survive to that extent. However, the petitioner is at liberty to move a fresh representation to the respondent authorities regarding his remaining grievances, if any, and the respondent authorities would

decide the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks of the same being filed.
With the liberty aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of.
All the pending applications also stand disposed of.
