The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction for consideration of his case for release on permanent parole. As per the reply filed by the respondents, the application submitted by the petitioner with this prayer has been forwarded to the State Level Committee on 01.11.2022.

Thus, the Committee is directed to objectively consider and decide, by a reasoned order, the pending application for permanent parole submitted on behalf of the convict-petitioner expeditiously and preferably in the forthcoming meeting. In case, any adverse order is passed, the petitioner shall be at liberty to
