This bail cancellation application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner with a prayer to cancel the bail granted to the respondent Nos.2 to 9 by the Special Judge, SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities Cases), Sriganganagar (for short ‘the trial court’) vide order dated 16.12.2020.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that after releasing on bail, the private respondents are threatening the petitioner with dire consequences as also intimidating him that the act which they have done earlier will be repeated. It is also submitted that since the private respondents are indulged in criminal activities regularly, their bail granted by the trial court may be cancelled.
Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the bail cancellation application.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and after going through the material available on record, I do not find any case for interference in this bail cancellation application, which is dismissed as such.
