AWARD OF LOK ADALAT

The matter is placed before the Lok Adalat today.
The MACT, Sirohi by its judgment and award dated 02.03.2017 in MAC Case No. 11512014 awarded a sum of Rs.12,57,800/- Alongwith interest @ 7.5% per annu
During the pendency of the instant appeals, Insurance Company and claimants made sincere endeavor to reso1;e the dispute by mutual agreement. After due deliberations, rival parties have arrived at a compromise and agreed to settle the matter amicably.
In terms of the settlement, Insurance Coinpany has agreed to pay a lump sum amount of Rs.3,50,0001- to claipants within two months, in addition to the amount already deposited by the Insurance Company; the amount so agreed shall be deposited' by the Insurance Company with the Tribunal within a period of two months fiom today, failing which, the same shall carry interest @ 6% per annum froin the date of this order till actual realization. both the parties are agreeable to the conditions of the settlement, therefore, the appeals deseive to be disposed of accordingly.
In view of the above, the appeals are disposed of.
The Registry is directed to send back the record forthwith.
