Heard.

This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner with the contention that his daughter aged about 24 years is missing and in relation to that, he has filed a missing person report at the Police Station - Chitawa, District – Nagaur, but the police are not making any efforts to trace out his daughter. It is alleged that the petitioner’s daughter has been detained illegally by the respondent No.4.

Today, the corpus is produced before this Court by the learned Public Prosecutor along with the police officials.

We have ascertained wishes of the corpus and she has stated that at present she is residing with her father and is not under any illegal detention of any person.

As per the missing person report lodged by the petitioner, the corpus is major and the police have also collected her school record, as per which, her date of birth is 10.05.1994.

Since the corpus is major and is not under illegal detention of anybody and at present, she is residing with the petitioner on her own free will, no further order is required to be passed in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.

However, the police is directed to facilitate the return of the

corpus to the place of her choice.
