Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the height of the petitioner has wrongly been assessed as 169.5 cms, whereas his height should be 171 cms. Upon such statement, the petitioner was directed to get his height examined by the Medical Board, SMS Hospital where he presented himself and his height has been measured and the report of the Medical Board, SMS Hospital has been received.
As per the Medical Board report dated 18.01.2021, the height of the petitioner has been found to be 169cms. Thus, the

contention of the petitioner is found to be without any basis. The Medical Board’s report is taken on record. The rejection of the petitioner’s candidature on the ground of less height does not warrant any interference.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
